Zepf Improvement Process
Zepf Technologies UK have retained the services of process improvement consultants PPIG (Packaging & Process Improvement Generation). This has been done to provide assistance to our customers in the areas of Process Support, Team Building, Training and Business Support.

The Zepf Improvement Process (ZIP) is currently offered as a free one day consultancy to those wishing to look at line improvement, changeover improvement and manufacturing capability studies.

Line Improvement Plans
Zepf UK can complete a survey and identify areas that will improve performance. The survey has been developed over the last 3 years to cover an extensive list of activities both directly and indirectly associated with the production process. The information gathered during the survey is assessed with improvements identified and transferred to your own line improvement plan.

TPM
This includes tailored Total Productive Maintenance support to assess and gain understanding. This will develop the approach in-house and customise the whole process to ensure it compliments your existing culture. Support is targeted at smaller manufacturing operations who have previously been put off introducing TPM style initiatives often sold at high cost.

Changeovers
Your customers are a demanding group always wanting more for less. You can reduce set-up time using the techniques of changeover improvement, becoming more flexible and consequently reducing cost.

Manufacturing Capability
Manufacturing Capability (MC) is about interfaces between the machines, material, people, methods and environmental conditions. The aim of MC is to achieve a capable and reliable process. Zepf UK offer a one day introductory training course that aims to introduce the team to the aims and objectives of MC and introduces some of the principle tools and techniques.
