The
ability to design changeparts for difficult
to handle, awkward shaped containers is
where Zepf Technologies UK is different
from an ordinary supplier. Whether handling
glass, PET, polyethylene, polypropylene,
other plastic composite materials or metal
containers Zepf UK can design parts to
give maximum performance.
Specific design standards are employed
dependant upon the type of material from
which the container is manufactured. We
are also very aware of the importance
of the quality to the customer of their
finished product and eliminating scuffing
or scratching on delicate containers is
a fundamental part of our design.
To date we have designed parts that have
been retrofitted to numerous machines
ranging in size from 3cl to 5L. Containers
being square, round, triangular, rectangular,
hexagonal, kidney shaped, oval, and other
complex shapes are seen as ' normal '
to our skilled and experienced designers.
Design of special container applications
such as spotting for label positioning,
orientating, neck handling or gripper
systems for transferring, cleaning, filling
and capping are also standard supply.

Within our factory we have created a
test loop where a customer can carry out
trials with or without Zepf UK personnel
and physically test container handling
through feedscrews / conveyor crossovers
and bends.
This facility is especially attractive
to customers introducing a new product
where there is doubt about the stability
of the container. |
