Replacement mechanical machine guarding is a new product recently introduced; customer feedback to date is excellent.

Zepf Technologies UK has the distinct competitive advantage of being a single supplier for both the high quality mechanical guarding and the electrical installation work required to satisfy current legislation, such as Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER).

Our guarding is high quality, being manufactured from stainless steel material for the support frames and 6mm material for the vision panels. Where required, the stainless steel frames are welded to ensure strength, stability and durability in operation. Guards can be either machine or floor mounted.

If an existing machine guard needs to be upgraded, a Zepf UK designer can visit the site to give advice and discuss specific details to enable a quotation to be prepared.

Key measurements will then be taken at a time to suit the production schedule of the customer. Installation of the guard will generally be outside normal working hours. On completion, we can provide the customer with 'as built' drawings for both the mechanical and electrical parts of the contract.

Product protection
Zepf Technologies UK has now also developed quick release, height adjustable product protection covers that can be retrofitted to existing changeparts or conveyors.

This is one method of complying with current food and drink legislation. As with our changeparts, these hygiene covers are manufactured from high quality materials, applying our design expertise.
